Intern - Platform as a Service

Karya’s mission is to leverage the AI revolution to create dignified earning and learning opportunities for low-income communities across the world. In India, our smartphone-based digital work platform has enabled over 120,000 people to build language datasets and evaluate AI models while earning fair wages. With pilots in Kenya and Ethiopia and partnerships with leading AI labs, we are advancing language technologies for underrepresented communities. By combining dignified digital work with frontier AI innovation, Karya hopes to build a new AI economy that is equitable, inclusive, and community-driven.

We're looking for a sharp, ambitious generalist to join our Platform-as-a-Service and Global Expansion team, as Intern - PaaS. This isn't your typical internship—you'll wear multiple hats, own real deliverables, and have a direct impact on our growth trajectory. If you're someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving diverse problems, and wants exposure across revenue, product, and program management, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product documentation and go-to-market activities
• Conduct research to identify and qualify potential leads for implementation partners and clients.
• Execute outreach strategy, and create inbound collateral.
• Coordinate ongoing projects in different geographies, across internal and external stakeholders. 
• Create and maintain documentation, reports, presentations, and collateral for different partner archetypes.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure smooth execution.
• Gather, synthesize and communicate product feedback from clients and internal teams. 

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience (smart, driven college graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Technical background with demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to context-switch between different types of work

• Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a stakeholder engagement strategy
• Ability to leverage business acumen to strategically assess and help solve needs of stakeholders, to eventually establish partnerships
• Excellent verbal and written English with an ability to build relationships with stakeholders 
• Comfortable with ambiguity, with the passion and hustle to build something impactful
  
  

Nice-to-Have Competencies:

• Prior exposure to revenue, product, or program management roles.
• Understanding of SaaS/PaaS business models
• Foundational understanding of diverse applications of AI, data modalities, data pipelines, and the broader technology ecosystem
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across geographies.
