Intern Market Access Systems (f/m/d)

The Operations and Risk unit in M (MR) is the hub of all operations supporting our Trading and Origination activities, and Asset Management for Europe & US.  The department is responsible for all processes and operations in the Back Office Europe & US, Risk Management, New Products & Investment Support, and the Digitalization Office for supporting our Trading & Origination activities. The responsibility of the unit is to ensure accurate and high-quality results in all operational activities to support Statkraft’s growth ambitions. 
 
The mission of the Digitalization Office is to create value for Statkraft T&O by providing state-of-the-art digital solutions to MT (Trading), MO (Origination), MR (Operations & Risk) and MF (Finance), with a strategic and professional interface towards IT. Digital solutions include systems, but also data and data governance.  

We are now looking for an Intern joining us for a minimum of 6 months.  

As an Intern, within the “Master Data Excellence” Team you will: 

• Drive the ongoing change process for a new master data process 
• Independently manage master data inquiries and cases 
• Develop and maintain Python-based tools to support operations 
• Support the process manager and data scientist in delivering on the relevant milestones 
• Work closely with business and IT - across several departments  

• Studies in the field of economics, business informatics, computer science or similar 
• Proficiency in coding, especially Python  
• Great curiosity for digital products and user-centered development 
• Initial experience with process management and process optimization 
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and API integrations (SOAP, REST) 
• Structured, independent and team-oriented way of working 
• Confident handling of tools such as Jira, Confluence is an advantage 
• Hands-on experience with customization and configuration of Salesforce solutions 
• Proficiency in both German and English 
• First experience in the energy industry is an advantage
