Intern - Manufacturing Engineer (Studying Bachelor Degree)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on a project-based assignment focused on recommending appropriate tools and process parameter settings for adhesive storage, application, and curing.
• Contribute to process improvements aimed at reducing defects in HGA operations and enhancing HDD quality.
• May be considered as potential candidates for full-time employment under the NCG hiring program.

REQUIRED:

• Pursuing a bachelor's in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Internship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) is required to have an internship period of at least 4-6 month

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Mechatronics or Computer Engineering principles
• Programming languages: C, C++, Python; experience with microcontrollers (MCUs) and machine vision systems
• Familiarity with vision systems and image processing
• Understanding of AI-based object detection and classification
• Basic project management capabilities
• Demonstrates a good level of English proficiency
