The successful candidate will support the delivery of our analysis of political, security, operational, integrity and social risks in the United States and Canada. This role will involve conducting research on competitors and market strategy to inform our business positioning and operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in business development, client relations, and business operations. Specifically, the successful candidate will contribute to business strategy development through operational research and analysis, supporting both our commercial operations and strategic planning initiatives. Key responsibilities include research and writing of updates for our online services, as well as contributing to bespoke consulting reports that guide our business operations and client engagement strategies.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience

  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program and majoring/concentrating in: Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Organized Crime/Public Security/Terrorism, or other relevant degrees
  • Excellent writing skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Solid understanding of the political, security and social risk landscape in the US as it pertains to companies as well as of US political dynamics
  • Proven track record in using quantitative (i.e. statistical) information to substantiate qualitative analysis
  • Business fluency in English language (both written and spoken)

Undergraduate students are paid $19/hour. Graduate students are paid $22/hour.
