The Data, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) Salesforce Intern will support the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) project by assisting with day-to-day Salesforce administration and system enhancement efforts. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience within a large, fast-paced public sector implementation that supports statewide emergency response operations.
Intern responsibilities include building and maintaining reports and dashboards, performing data entry and data validation, and supporting permission set and profile cleanup to improve system organization and security. The intern will also assist with basic field creation and updates, troubleshoot introductory automation issues, and help resolve Salesforce support cases.
During Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations, the intern may be asked to provide additional system support to ensure accuracy, continuity, and readiness of mission-critical workflows.
This internship offers exposure to real-world Salesforce administration, emergency management processes, and collaboration with technical and business teams. It provides a strong foundation for candidates seeking careers in Salesforce, public sector technology, or enterprise system support.
