We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CRM & Marketing Operations Intern to join our Marketing team on a fixed-term contract that has opportunity to extend. This role offers hands-on experience supporting CRM operations, data integrity, and marketing automation within HubSpot. The intern will play a key role in ensuring customer data is accurate, well-segmented, and effectively leveraged across marketing campaigns. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone whose background is in math and analytics and their interested in marketing operations, reporting, CRM systems, and data-driven marketing within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM & Data Management

  • Assist with implementing recommendations specific to the CRM from marketing audits to improve data quality, processes, and system usage.
  • Support the importing, cleaning, and validation of data within HubSpot to ensure customer records and segments are accurate and up to date.
  • Help maintain consistent data standards across properties, lists, and custom fields.

Segmentation & Email Marketing Support

  • Assist in building and updating HubSpot lists and segments to ensure marketing emails are targeting the most current and relevant audiences.
  • Support the marketing team in validating that email sends align with approved segmentation logic and campaign goals.

HubSpot Workflow & Automation QA

  • Assist with quality assurance (QA) of HubSpot workflows, including reviewing triggers, logic, and outputs to ensure they are functioning as intended.
  • Help document workflows and flag potential issues, redundancies, or optimization opportunities.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Support the development of CRM Marketing reports and testing plans.
  • Contribute to documentation of CRM processes, best practices, and updates for internal teams.

Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Assist with additional CRM, marketing operations, tech and data-related projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in data accuracy and process improvement.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and large data sets.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn marketing technology and CRM best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • Basic understanding of email marketing, customer segmentation, or marketing operations.
  • Previous internship or academic project experience involving data, systems, or marketing analytics.
