We’re seeking a self-motivated, creative intern interested in joining a fast-paced, data-driven startup that is changing the Supply Chain industry through real-time tracking and end-to-end visibility. 

Through our internship program, you’ll join the Product Team where you’ll gain real-world experience creating scalable, high-quality product/technical content for FourKites’ internal and external communities. 

You will help to educate, train, and reduce internal inquiries and customer case submissions by adding content to our customer and partner-facing Knowledge Base and our internal product documentation. You’ll work closely with the Product Operations team as we look for creative ways to improve our online documentation and meet the needs of our audience. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Improve existing customer-facing how-to articles/technical documentation for better engagement, applying multimedia and user experience skills. This could involve rephrasing, adding visuals, and infusing compelling content or storytelling elements
• Write scripts and create or update product demos or how-to videos 
• Work co-op with product managers and other stakeholders to learn more about FourKites products and services
• Work in the Agile software development life cycle to draft, revise, and validate a series of product/technical documents
• Help educate internal and external FourKites users with the latest changes in the product by working closely with our product and go-to-market experts as they evangelize the new releases within our application 
• Collaborate on strategic projects related to documentation and the FourKites Community 
• Learn to deliver high-quality documentation by completing our product certification and working with our internal teams to get an in-depth understanding of the FourKites Product
• Assist in gathering data that helps us to understand our community needs and support community programs such as super user program, ambassador program, community logins, and engagement

 Who you are: 

• Strong English writing, speaking, and editing skills
• Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint/Keynote Animation
• Some experience or familiarity with technical writing or any other form of writing 
• A passion for technology and its application to solve business problems and experience or interest in the Supply Chain industry 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build working relationships with co-workers in different locations

Qualification Requirements:

• Major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or related field
