About The Role

The core function of this position is to gain experience in SEO copywriting and blog editing while working with LifeMD. Skills to be developed during the internship include, but are not limited to proofreading, checking the accuracy of healthcare facts, editing and optimizing blog posts. We are accepting applicants for on-site work at our main office located in Greenville, SC. This is a paid 10-15 hour/week, 12-week internship opportunity. We are flexible with internship start dates.

Responsibilities

  • Check text to ensure it is well-written and logically structured
  • Correct spelling and grammatical errors
  • Check sources, facts and quotations for accuracy
  • Review headline(s) to ensure they reflect the story
  • Ensure the text conforms to LifeMD's style and brand voice
  • Communicate with writers regarding errors and areas for improvement
  • Upload content to Contentful CMS
  • Participate in collaborative meetings

Requirements

  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Interest in healthcare
  • Exceptional internet research skills to investigate claims
  • Basic knowledge of SEO
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal/collaboration skills
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
