We invite a skilled, responsible, and organized Angular Software Engineer to join our team and drive the upgrade of legacy applications from AngularJS/4 to Angular 12+. In this role, you'll help a leading tech provider in the restaurant industry modernize their systems by owning a critical migration project and collaborating closely with backend teams and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

✅ Is that you?

• 3+ years of commercial development experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of Angular architecture, components, services, and TypeScript fundamentals
• Hands-on involvement in legacy and enterprise projects
• Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risks
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with clients
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Strong work ethic with a demonstrated sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results within strict deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience working with legacy Angular codebases
• Experience migrating applications from AngularJS/4 to Angular 12+
• Experience owning a component or module (planning, coordination, cross-functional communication, risk management, and reporting)

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll manage a legacy-to-modern migration, upgrading Angular versions, optimizing UI components, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the process.

• Analyze the existing AngularJS and Angular 4 codebases to understand the current state of the project
• Propose a strategy to consolidate and streamline the UI across the project
• Perform risk assessment and identify potential challenges related to the upgrade
• Develop a detailed migration plan, including potential issues and mitigation strategies
• Lead the Angular version upgrade process from AngularJS/Angular 4 to Angular 12+
• Implement UI improvements in alignment with modern Angular practices and user needs
• Provide regular updates on migration progress and challenges to the team, clients, and stakeholders
