Intro
As our Interim Senior Finance Manager (fixed-term, 18–24 months), you will be the backbone of Feather’s financial integrity. You aren't just 'keeping the books'; you are building a scalable, tech-forward finance function. You will bridge the gap between rigorous German HGB compliance and the fast-paced needs of a growing startup. This is a role for a 'doer' who has the strategic mindset to automate workflows and provide the leadership team with the data needed to steer the company.
Why work at Feather?
Make real impact, fast. As an interim Senior Finance Manager, you step into a role with immediate ownership and trust. Your work will directly impact financial stability, compliance, and decision-making during an important transition phase for Feather.
Work at the intersection of finance, data, and tech. Data drives how we operate. You’ll work in a highly data-driven environment that combines the rigour of insurance and German accounting standards with the speed and pragmatism of a modern B2C startup.
A modern, pragmatic tech stack. We believe finance should be scalable and automation-first. You’ll work with a modern tool landscape and have the freedom to improve processes, reduce manual work, and introduce smarter ways of working where it makes sense.
Small, lean, and genuinely collaborative. We’re a small team with a flat hierarchy and a strong sense of ownership. Decisions are made quickly, communication is direct, and everyone is trusted to focus on what truly matters.
Autonomy with support. You’ll have the independence to run the finance function day to day, while working closely with a supportive leadership team that values transparency, structure, and clear financial insights.
Flexible remote-first setup. We’re a remote-first company with an office in Berlin. You can work remotely or in a hybrid setup, and we regularly bring the team together for company dinners, offsites, and retreats.
A clearly defined interim role. This is a fixed-term role (18–24 months), ideal if you enjoy stepping into complex environments, creating stability, and building solid foundations that last beyond your time with us.
