Team & Agency Management
- Manage marketing staff and contractors, including paid media specialist, marketing manager, designer, and event manager
- Oversee relationships with PR agency and website design agency partners
- Provide direction and quality control to ensure deliverables meet brand standards
Campaign Execution & Operations
- Own the marketing calendar and ensure all campaign assets (email, social, ads, event collateral) are briefed, approved, and delivered on schedule
- QA all marketing materials before launch—checking messaging accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance with safety/regulatory requirements
- Build and document repeatable workflows for campaign production, from initial brief through approval and launch
Demand Generation & Growth
- Analyze current lead generation performance and contribute strategic ideas to grow lead volume and conversion rates
- Manage implementation of new demand generation initiatives
- Collaborate with sales to identify which leads are converting and adjust targeting/messaging accordingly
Performance Reporting & Analysis
- Build and deliver weekly dashboard showing website traffic, lead volume, cost per lead, and campaign performance by channel
- Conduct monthly deep-dives into what's working and what's not, presenting clear recommendations to the fractional CMO
- Identify budget reallocation opportunities based on ROI analysis—shifting dollars from underperforming channels to winners
Strategic Support
- Partner with fractional CMO on quarterly planning, bringing ideas for new markets, messaging angles, or channel experiments
- Review and provide input on content strategy, ensuring web copy, case studies, and sales materials effectively communicate HeroWear's value proposition
- Maintain competitive intelligence on how other workplace safety companies are positioning themselves
Experience & Expertise
- 7+ years of marketing experience with at least 3+ years in a marketing leadership role
- Proven track record managing marketing teams, contractors, and agency relationships
- Strong background in demand generation, campaign management, and performance marketing.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and analytics tools. Hubspot experience is a must, though you don't need to be an expert
- Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or safety products

- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance and making recommendations
