Support first article builds in a fast-paced, early-development environment
Own design, process, and CapEx trades to support build and unlock key capabilities, and contribute to development of long-term, scalable manufacturing systems and infrastructure
Drive make-vs.-buy decisions; collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain
Provide hands-on floor support during build and test
Drive continuous improvement measures across the factory, including tooling, ERP / MES workflows, and internal standards and specifications

Exposure to electrical harness design and mechanical routing in 3D CAD software
Collaborate with integrated product teams to ensure system-level avionics design meets needs for structures, propulsion, and software systems integration and test
Comfortable communicating across design, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and logistics teams to ensure hardware quality and pace of execution
Self-starter who can define and roll out new processes from scratch, working collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and external vendors
Proficient in CAD, basic design or test analysis, and first-principles hand calculations
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical mechanical hardware
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience authoring and improving work instructions, travelers, and build documentation
Familiarity with PLM/MES systems and production change control in a regulated environment
