Key Responsibilities

• Engage in R&D focused on photonic integration for quantum key distribution.

• Participate in leading European projects within the field.

• Collaborate with software, hardware, and production teams to develop cutting-edge products.

• Contribute to technical decisions that shape our product roadmap.

• Conduct hands-on characterization of PICs and supervise these processes.

• Play a key role in defining and executing activities related to PIC packaging, system manufacturing, testing, and product development.

Requirements

• Experience in photonic integrated circuits, with work in areas such as design, characterization, fabrication processes, or packaging, and a broad understanding of the different platforms and the steps involved in developing PIC-based products.

• Industrial experience in the development of PIC-based products is desirable.

• High proficiency in English (minimum fluent B2/C1 level).

• Highly proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills.

• Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Microelectronics/RF, Optics/Photonics, Physics, or a related field
