Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and play a critical role in gathering, verifying, and processing client information to ensure seamless onboarding. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of intake procedures, and the ability to manage a high volume of cases with accuracy and empathy.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison for new clients, conducting initial screenings and assessments to determine eligibility and service needs.
Collect and verify all necessary documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Accurately input client data into case management or CRM systems.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., case managers, legal staff, clinicians, or sales) to ensure timely follow-up and handoffs.
Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with data protection laws and company standards.
Answer client inquiries professionally and promptly via phone, email, or in-person.
Track and report on intake metrics and trends to help improve operational efficiency.
Assist with continuous improvement of intake processes and documentation standards.
