Insurance Operations Associate

TLDR

Support the Insurance team by managing workflow tasks related to workers' compensation policies and collaborating with the Underwriting team to meet coverage needs.

The Insurance Operations Associate will support our Insurance team with policy support after issuance.

They will handle tasks in a workflow-style environment that assists with servicing our workers' compensation policies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Data transferring efficiently and accurately
    • Preparing written communication on endorsements, referrals, audit appeals, and much more.
    • Basic understanding of workers' compensation.
    • Assisting with the processing of endorsements, renewals, and new
    • business underwriting.
    • Assist with the tracking and communication of requests that are submitted
    • Handle agency management tasks
    • Meet with the Underwriting team on a regular basis to communicate coverage needs and stay up to date with the growth of our book of business

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • 1–2 years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
    • Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth

Requirements

    • Mastery of the English language, both written and verbal
    • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Proactive, task-oriented mindset with strong initiative
    • Positive, learning-driven attitude and strong work ethic
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
    • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a changing environment
    • Ability to interpret and assess data-driven reports
    • High level of autonomy and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information
    • Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheet tools and working knowledge of CRM platforms
