This is a hands-on role—not administrative. You’ll be responsible for writing, reviewing, and defending estimates while acting as a knowledgeable liaison between homeowners, contractors, and insurance carriers.
Insurance Estimating & Adjuster Coordination
Prepare detailed estimates for residential restoration and reconstruction projects (water, fire, storm, mitigation).
Review insurance policies, coverage limits, and loss documentation to ensure estimates align with carrier requirements.
Communicate directly with insurance adjusters to explain scope, negotiate line items, and resolve discrepancies.
Submit estimates, supplements, photos, and supporting documentation through Analysis or carrier portals.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve approval rates and reduce delays or underpayments.
Claims & Project Support
Support the full claims lifecycle from initial scope through approval and final billing.
Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure scopes reflect real field conditions.
Track claim status, approvals, supplements, and outstanding items.
Assist with invoicing accuracy and documentation needed for payment release.
Client Communication
Provide clear updates to internal stakeholders or homeowners regarding claim status and next steps.
Flag coverage gaps, exclusions, or risks early to avoid downstream issues.
Maintain organized claim files and documentation for audit readiness.
3+ years of hands-on experience in insurance claims estimating or property restoration.
Strong, proven experience using Xactimate (required).
Direct experience dealing with U.S. insurance adjusters.
Solid understanding of residential reconstruction, mitigation, and restoration workflows.
Advanced English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to defend estimates logically and professionally.
Comfortable working remotely with U.S.-based teams and deadlines.
Background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience with XactAnalysis, Claims Connect, or Symbility.
Catastrophe (CAT) experience.
Prior work with U.S. restoration companies or insurance carriers.
Long-term, stable remote opportunity.
Work closely with U.S.-based restoration and construction teams.
High ownership role with real impact on revenue recovery and claim outcomes.
Competitive compensation aligned with experience.
