Summary
The Commercial Installer Technician provides installation of HVACR and or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills, ovens, ice machines, walk-in coolers and freezers, etc.).
Details
- Install kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and fittings as required.
- Communicate status updates on part order(s) and repairs with branch office and or customer.
- Document task (parts/work orders, timesheets) accurately and timely.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with policies and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- One year of installation experience with HVAC/R and or kitchen equipment i.e., RTUS, chillers.

Experience with electrical and plumbing would be a plus.
- High school diploma or the equivalent in experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- An electrical and or plumbing background is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Working / Environmental Conditions:
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.
- Extensive daily travel to work site location.
- Occasional to frequent exertion in high and low temperature environments (over heated kitchens, rooftops, outdoors, etc.).
- Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
- Exposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment.
