Installation Engineer II

TLDR

Collaborate as part of the Program Engineering Team to produce essential drawings and documentation for aircraft platform product incorporation.

Job Summary:  

The Installation Engineer II is a member of the Program Engineering Team within the Program Management Department. This individual will perform tasks associated with the incorporation of RAVE Aerospace's products onto Aircraft Platforms. They will be a member of the technical team responsible for accomplishing tasks associated with Program Engineering for Airline Programs. The Installation Engineer II will receive drafting and documentation assignments from a senior member of the Team, Technical Lead(s), assigned to oversee the technical tasks associated with a group of programs.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Produce seat and system drawings as well as other electrical and/or mechanical drawings/documentation for the installation of company equipment onto aircraft platforms 
  • Produce Engineering Drawings consistent with company standards for our products and the integration onto Aircraft Platforms 
  • Responsible for design review support 
  • Ensure design requirement data is retrieved and implemented properly 
  • Support system installations or trouble shooting as required 
  • Interface with team members and be a contributing, value-added member of the team 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or experience in the use of AutoCAD application software (2D Design) 
  • 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results 
  • Experience working in a team environment 
  • Experience in the use of 3D Modeling software application preferred 

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $84,800 - $101,700 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
