We are seeking Inspection Engineers (Grade I & II) to support offshore subsea inspection campaigns across DOF’s global operations. The role involves mobilisation and online operation of inspection systems, execution of pipeline and structural inspections, data acquisition and quality control, and contribution to inspection reporting, ensuring all activities are performed safely and in accordance with company and client requirements. 

The position aligns with IMCA competency requirements and includes responsibilities consistent with Pipeline Inspection Engineer Grades 1 and 2, supporting ROV and dive-based inspection operations.

Requirements

  • Mandatory: In-date CSWIP 3.4u certification. 
  • Essential: Nexus IC inspection software experience.  
  • Grade I: Minimum 100 operational offshore inspection days. 
  • Grade II: Minimum 2 years’ relevant industrial, military or academic experience. 
  • Experience with ROV and/or dive inspection systems and subsea inspection techniques.
  • NDT certifications (CP, ACFM, UT) and tertiary engineering/science qualifications are desirable. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare, test and mobilise inspection equipment for offshore operations. 
  • Execute subsea inspection activities directing ROV and dive teams. 
  • Operate inspection software and systems for structural and pipeline inspections. 
  • Calibrate and operate NDT equipment (CP, FMD, UT, etc.). 
  • Perform, log, monitor and quality-check video, audio and data recordings. 
  • Operate and accurately log inspection events in Inspection Software packages (Nexus, Aize IE) 
  • Populate data sheets, review findings and identify anomalies and CNC items. 
  • Assist with inspection reporting, data handover and asset documentation. 
  • Support demobilisation, equipment testing and asset register updates. 
  • Perform all duties in compliance with DOF HSE policies and RITE values.

  • High attention to detail and data quality. 
  • Flexible, safety-focused and able to work in offshore environments. 
  • Strong ethical standards and effective communication skills.
