About the Role

Our Insights team is transforming the way investors, corporates, and consultancies obtain curated knowledge to inform business strategy, with a particular emphasis on Private Equity. 

Working on-demand and side by side to our expert interviews and survey offerings, our Insights team delivers tailored solutions to a sophisticated global client base. Whether we are helping a private equity firm prioritise their deal pipeline (e.g. early-stage diligence) or supporting a technology Corporate conduct voice of customer research for their game-changing new product, we utilise the power of the Dialectica service offering to help answer our clients’ most pressing strategic business problems. 

The Insights team is experiencing strong growth and we are looking to hire high-calibre candidates with a strong strategy consulting toolkit who are excited to develop their commercial acumen and client-facing capabilities while leveraging the foundational skills they bring in strategic analysis, business intuition, quantitative analysis, and top-notch deliverables.

As a member of our Insights team, you will use your business sense and enthusiasm to apply your strategic toolkit across a spectrum of services including private equity transactions and corporate intelligence.

Indicative responsibilities include: 

  • Project delivery 

Playing a key role in end to end project delivery, developing expert discussion guides and surveys based on client needs. Working with Client Service Team colleagues on expert engagement and leading insights generation by conducting expert interviews and overseeing survey fielding. You will then summarise your insights into client ready deliverables in collaboration with senior members of the team and present to clients. 

  • Business development 

Contribute in all aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and attending meetings with clients to help sell work and work in an environment operating under tight timeframes and demands and be familiar working in a large-scale multi-national environment or equivalent role. 

  • Content & Practice Development 

Contributing to content and practice development in the Insights team. For example, marketing materials, sector expertise initiatives, new product ideation, etc. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2-4 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG) (due diligence / transactions experience highly preferred) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in producing and reviewing high calibre reports, papers, presentations, and thought leadership materials 
  • A track record of successful project delivery with corporate clients where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to link analysis to financial / investor impact, and understand the implications of findings to client strategy 
  • Enthusiastic team player, particularly on teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the ability to coach and mentor others 
  • Passionate about new ideas and products to introduce to market
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas 
  • Professionalism and consistency in approach to client work, internal business and practice development
