About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Inside Systems Engineer to partner closely with our sales organization in driving technical excellence across the customer journey. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about translating complex data protection solutions into clear business value.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will influence customers, partners, and internal stakeholders by aligning technical architectures with business outcomes and accelerating revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Deliver compelling live and virtual technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and partners.
Translate customer business objectives into scalable technical solutions aligned with Veeam’s portfolio.
Conduct configuration reviews and provide proactive technical guidance on data protection best practices.
Support the full technical sales cycle, partnering with Account Managers to drive successful deal closure.
Manage assigned accounts at a technical level to identify expansion opportunities and optimize deployments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Support, Licensing, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
Transform product-based selling conversations into customer-centric, outcome-driven engagements.
Map technical requirements to measurable business impact.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and account activity using Salesforce.com.
Continuously adapt to territory demands while managing priorities effectively.

What You’ll Bring

2–4+ years of experience in technical presales required, solution engineering required, post-sales, or technical support roles.
Trilingual written and verbal communication skills (Spanish, English and Portuguese). Must be fluent in the 3 languages.
Office attendance required 3 days per week.
Strong expertise in data protection and backup technologies.
Foundational knowledge of storage, networking, and hybrid cloud environments.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
High energy, self-motivation, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Bonus Skills

Experience with Linux environments.
Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes (K8s).
Exposure to enterprise application workloads and modernization initiatives.
