Role Overview

The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for generating, revising and sending the final version of a technical & commercial accurate quotation to the customer based on its requirements. The offer shall be in accordance with the IMI-CCI Sales and Marketing Guideline and the subsequent costs & delivery time baseline or agreed exceptions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with Customers, Outside Sales [OS], internal/external suppliers.
  • Reviewing the customer specifications, Terms and Condition (T&C’s) & involve appropriate departments (e.g. Design Engineering, Quality Engineering / Quality Assurances, Project Management, Purchasing, Planning as well as internal and external resources) in order to release  a precise and effective proposal.
  • Send RFQ to selected vendors (e.g IMI-sister companies sub-suppliers …).
  • Compare proposals from different suppliers and match the technical, commercial  and delivery requirements
  • Running Sales Force SFDC process.
  • Calculating the project net costs and maximizing the sales Gross Margin [GM].
  • Reviewing the customer purchase order against our latest offer and solving potential deviations.
  • Compiling the completed Customer Order Review Board Package [CORB-Package] & provide it to the Manager

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in system integration and 5 years in HIPPS application, as Proposal Manager & Cost Estimator (ISE) is mandatorily required.
  • Strong mechanical technical background in system integration, gained in EPCs or Fabrication companies.
  • Industrial automation experience would be a nice to have.
  • Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and CRM skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Interest in working in an international environment
