About the role

We’re looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to join our Ottawa team! In this role, you’ll manage the sales process from vetting incoming customer inquiries through to validating purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and smooth handoffs to the Sales Operations team. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to keep everything running efficiently—whether it’s processing orders, updating Salesforce, assisting with tenders, or supporting the sales team with administrative tasks.

What you’ll do

  • Triage inbound customer inquiries from various channels

  • Enter, qualify, and assign inbound leads to the appropriate Technical Sales Manager (TSM)

  • Review and validate purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in pricing, payment terms, and shipping details before passing them to Sales Operations for fulfillment

  • Work closely with TSMs, Operations, and Finance to resolve order discrepancies and keep processes running smoothly

  • Maintain and update Salesforce records, including customer accounts, contacts, opportunities, and quotes

  • Support TSMs with tenders, lead management, order processing, and customer inquiries

  • Work with the Director of Sales to track key sales metrics, assisting with dashboard and report management, and ensuring Salesforce data remains accurate and up to date

  • Assist with tender submissions, proposals, quotes, and other administrative sales tasks

  • Provide backup support to TSMs as needed

  • Collaborate across teams to improve communication, streamline processes, and enhance the efficiency of the sales processes

  • Work with Sales Operations to identify and implement process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction
