The Role

Netcraft performs millions of takedowns per year and works closely with Trust & Safety teams at social networks, hosting providers, domain registrars & registries, coding platforms and other internet infrastructure providers. Building on successful global partnerships we’ve already established, we’re seeking an active individual to aid in our provider relation efforts within the United States.


This position reports within the Infrastructure Provider Relationship team, liaising closely with global customers, Trust & Safety teams within social and internet infrastructure providers, and Netcraft colleagues across multiple time zones.


You must be based in the United States. This role offers the flexibility to work in our offices in Lehi, Utah or remotely within the United States. There will be an occasional need to travel domestically and internationally.


This is what you'll be doing, day to day:

  • Aiding our existing social media & infrastructure provider relation function with ongoing efforts to build relationships, secure API-based integrations, building on Netcraft’s takedown efficacy & speed.
  • Performing escalations to infrastructure providers for high priority cases.
  • Performing operational tasks in aid in our reporting to infrastructure providers, focusing on the automation of reporting processes.
  • Sharing your ideas on how to improve processes and workflows.


To be successful, you'll need:

  • Trust and Safety experience
  • Experience and understanding of internet technologies and networks (DNS, Whois, RDAP).
  • A knowledge of internet governance organisations including ICANN with an understanding of T&S policy.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong intellectual and commercial curiosity;
  • A positive and solution-focused approach;
  • Interest in the internet and cybercrime prevention;
  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written English;
  • Ability to engage with people in a warm, helpful, and professional way;
  • Self-motivation, ability to take initiative, and work as part of a team;
  • Aptitude for analysing and using technical information;
  • Relevant academic qualifications

  • Membership with professional bodies like FIRST, TSPA, M3AAWG, ICANN.
