ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Information Systems Security Analyst to support daily secure data transfers between isolated, air-gapped classified environments and contribute to the continuous security, compliance, and mission readiness of our classified systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, high-accountability environments and wants to build deeper experience in cybersecurity operations, RMF, and classified systems security.

You will be a key part of our Cyber Assurance Team, ensuring all data movement, systems artifacts, and compliance activities are executed with precision, documentation accuracy, and alignment with DAAPM/DAAG, JSIG, NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and internal security workflows.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Secure Data Transfer Operations (~3-4 hours daily)
  • Conduct daily secure data transfers between air-gapped classified networks using approved media and methods.
  • Maintain rigorous chain-of-custody, transfer logs, and audit artifacts in accordance with DAAPM/DAAG/JSIG requirements.
  • Perform media sanitization, classification reviews, and verification of proper markings and labeling.
  • Identify and report anomalies, improper data, or transfer issues immediately to ISSM/ISSO leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiar and comfortable with monitoring of RMF authorization, implementation, and end of life cycles processes.
  • Intricately familiar with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) DAAPM, JSIG, applicable NIST publications, and RMF.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of exploits, attacks, and tools used by skilled hackers.
  • Knowledge of RMF Cybersecurity (ISSM / ISSO) or related discipline in support of classified networks.
  • Security+ or equivalent certification / Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (DoD 8140 compliance).
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prefer experience or knowledge of modern software development techniques and processes and their security (CI pipelines, microservices architectures, cloud and container based deployments).
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc.).
  • AWS / Cloud certifications.
US Salary Range
$113,000—$149,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
