Job Overview

The Information Security SME is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining Theeb’s information security framework. This is a hands-on role where the incumbent will personally manage all aspects of cybersecurity operations, compliance, and governance. The role ensures the protection of company data, systems, and digital assets in line with international best practices and regulatory requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce company-wide information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and technologies across all environments.
  • Monitor security incidents and respond to threats in real time.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NCA, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage SOC, IAM, and endpoint protection solutions directly.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and security training for employees.
  • Prepare and present security posture and audit reports to senior management.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for all information security matters during the initial two years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security management.
  • Must hold at least one recognized certification: CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or CEH.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute end-to- end security operations independently.
  • Strong knowledge of network, application, and cloud security.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.
