Information Security Engineer - Europe Region

You will primarily be accountable for 

• Design, implement and maintain security and compliance solutions across Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure platforms. 
• Collaborate with other teams and participate in their projects to ensure industry standard cybersecurity controls are in place 
• Support Europe and Country IT Teams across 19 countries as cybersecurity Subject-matter expert 
• Work together with SOC and CSIRT team to monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents 
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in the environment using automated security scanning and assessment tools. 

• Improve overall company security posture 

Additional responsibilities 

• Ensure systems and assets alignment with common cybersecurity frameworks (i.e. CIS, NIST ) 
• Create technical documentation and establish company-specific baselines for commonly use services and operating systems 
• Review penetration tests reports and coordinate gap remediations with specific service and systems owners 

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity 
• Hands-on experience and advanced technical knowledge in at least 2 Microsoft Azure security areas: 
  - Defender for Cloud 
  - Microsoft Sentinel 
  - Infrastructure Security (IaaS) 
  - Network Security 
  - Application Security 
  - Storage&Database security 

• Hands-on experience and advanced technical knowledge in at least 2 Microsoft 365 E5 areas: 
  - Microsoft Entra ID security solutions 
  - Microsoft Purview 
  - Microsoft 365 Defender portfolio 
  - Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager) 
• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals knowledge 
• Solid understanding of Windows-based operating systems 
• Ability to write scripts to automate daily tasks (PowerShell, Bash, Python) 
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and organize daily work with minimal supervision 
• Fluency in English - role require English communication on daily basis
