The Role

As a member of the Information Security team, you will engineer, integrate, and deploy security best practice solutions to securely enable the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze systems, data, and operating environments to determine appropriate security controls.
  • Work closely with project team members to make sure that applicable security requirements are incorporated in systems and solutions
  • Participate in business, technical, and security reviews of the solution to explain selected security and privacy controls
  • Perform initial and ongoing risk assessments of the system
  • Analyze systems and apply appropriate patches

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years or more experience in IT Security related functions (patch management, system, network, IAM, etc.)
  • A broad knowledge about IT and IT Security in general with detailed knowledge of at least 1 of the following topics: Patch Management Application Security, Telecommunications & Network Security, Cyber Security Operations, Identity Management & Access Control or Cryptography.
  • Possess technical expertise in extracting pertinent security data from systems, audits, and logs, to create security reports and comply with audit requests when requested.
  • Be passionate about cyber security; willingness and ability to share and evangelize.

Nice to have:

  • CISSP, CISA, or other security-focused certifications
  • Experience working with NIST controls
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, remote work environment
  • Desire to work on cross-functional tasks
