Information Development Intern  

Minitab is looking for an intern to work in the Information Development department to support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for our product ecosystem. The Information Development group works closely with Minitab’s software engineers, quality engineers, and designers to provide our customers with content that helps them get the most from our software.  

The Role 

  • Assist with updating our help topics to support new designs and improvements
  • Perform a wide variety of technical support duties to assist the Information Development staff 
  • Assist with special projects as assigned 
  • Completed at least two years of college-level course work with an emphasis in Information Sciences and Technology, technical writing, or related field 

 Essential Skills 

  • Strong written communication skills 
  • Experience with SQL and JavaScript
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new software applications  
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, co-workers, and external parties 
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills 
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively to meet deadlines, and be flexible 
  • Ability to work with limited supervision 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) 
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language 

 

MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab Corporate Headquarters in State College, PA. 

Remote work is not an option for this position.
