The Mission
TrustedHousesitters is a fast-growing, direct-to-consumer marketplace redefining pet care and travel. Our platform connects a thriving global community of pet lovers through a unique, trust-based membership model. We are on a mission to become the world’s most loved travel solution for pet people, fueled by a passionate community of nearly 280,000 members.
As we scale, our focus is shifting toward the US market. We aren’t just looking for someone to "manage influencers" - we need a strategic architect to build an engine of trust and advocacy across the Atlantic.
The Role: Strategic, Creative, and US-Focused
This isn’t a transactional "pay-per-post" role. We need a "head up" creator lead who understands that our product requires nuanced, high-quality storytelling rather than a simple product demo.
As an Individual Contributor (IC) reporting to the Head of Brand & Content, you will own the end-to-end creator lifecycle. You will be the glue between Brand, Paid Social, and our advocacy community, turning one-off partnerships into long-term brand advocacy.
What you’ll be doing:
US Market Leadership: Lead our US-focused strategy. You’ll source and manage high-performing US creators who align with our values and navigate the complexities of US talent agents, managers, and usage rights.
Always-On Strategy: Move beyond "pop moments" to build a consistent, month-over-month influencer foundation that drives brand consideration and trust.
UGC & Advocacy Scaling: Formalise the process for sourcing and licensing User-Generated Content. You'll lead the optimisation of our advocacy platforms (like Duel) to maximise community referrals.
Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Paid Social on whitelisting/licensing and collaborate with Comms and Affiliates to ensure creator content is a consistent pillar of our global strategy.
IRL Experiences: Strategy and execution of influencer-focused events and "money-can't-buy" brand experiences to foster deep loyalty.
Commercial Negotiation: "quality over quantity" mindset - negotiating contracts and ensuring every pound spent delivers value.
Who you are:
The US Expert: You have a proven track record of managing US-based influencer campaigns.
The Storyteller: You appreciate the nuance of marketing a high-trust service. You know how to guide creators away from transactional 'product reviews' and toward the kind of authentic storytelling that builds long-term confidence in our membership.
The Independent Operator: You are comfortable being the sole point of contact for this function. You can go from working on high-level strategy in one instance, before handling admin in the next.
The "Head Up" Partner: You don't work in a silo. You are proactive in working with Data teams to understand ROI (via MMM) and with Product to align with our brand voice.
The Process:
We value your time and aim for a transparent, efficient process:
1. Talent Screen: A conversation with our Talent team
2. Hiring Manager Session: A 30-minute deep dive with the hiring manager
3. Practical Task: A case-study exercise focused on a real-world campaign scenario, presented to a cross-functional panel (including Paid Social and Comms).
4. Final Coffee Chat: A final check-in with your future manager
If you're ready to join us on our mission to become the most loved pet travel solution, we'd love to hear from you!
