Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Industrial Sales Manager to spearhead growth in the industrial sector. This role requires a passionate and enthusiastic sales professional with strong technical aptitude, initiative, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will leverage existing Arctic Compressor products, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute and implement strategic sales plans to achieve consistent business and revenue growth.
  • Drive results by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market reach.
  • Cultivate and manage partnerships with distributors and resellers who have established industry connections.
  • Take the initiative by networking with industry associations, attending targeted trade shows, and engaging with potential customers as approved by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to position Arctic Compressor as the preferred solution.
  • Recommend channel partners
  • Demonstrate innovation and problem-solving skills by conducting thorough customer needs assessments and offering tailored compressor solutions.
  • Identify and understand end customers and their use cases to drive growth within the Industrial Sales channel
  • Effectively communicate Arctic Compressor’s value proposition, highlighting efficiency, reliability, and performance tailored to industry-specific applications.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Control and navigate the multi-stage sales process, utilizing resourceful strategies and independent decision-making to advance deals.
  • Utilize CRM systems consistently to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales pipeline status.
  • Gather and upload market, customer, channel, and competitors information into the CRM system and feedback to the VP of Sales and Marketing 
  • Timely submission of sales, market research, travel reports, CRM updates, and any additional adhoc reports and presentations to VP of Sales and Marketing

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or marketing, with year-over-year growth and measurable achievements.
  • Ambition and self-motivation to drive personal and company success.
  • Regular attendance to scheduled meetings is required.  Providing advance communication when extenuating circumstances arise that would prevent you from attending is expected
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand high-pressure compressor applications and market demands.
  • Innovative and out-of-the-box problem-solving skills to tailor solutions to customers’ unique needs.
  • Ability to analyze market data and execute strategic growth initiatives.
  • Highly independent and resourceful, capable of managing relationships and closing deals with minimal supervision.
  • Optimism and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
  • Accountability, holding self and others to high-performance standards.

  • Industrial Sales Manager is expected to travel 40-60%, especially to meet with customers and potentials on-site, and to conferences/trade shows, etc.
