Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic individual with a keen eye to detail and a positive attitude for this role. The successful candidate will be focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while fulfilling the role of Industrial Maintenance Technician. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor

Position Offers

• Pay: $28 - $35 per hour (DOE)
• The position is a Full-Time, Permanent Position with Comprehensive Benefits
• 8 paid holidays every calendar year
• Plant annual bonus program
• Work schedule: Days 7am-3:30pm, with bi-weekly pay

Job Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of electrical, pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, composition. Calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components, and install and maintain instruments and controls on new or existing equipment.
• Experience with, but not limited to: changing electric motors, water/vacuum pumps, gear boxes
• Plastics/Extrusion experience a plus

Requirements

• Experienced Maintenance Technician with 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferrable in a manufacturing environment
• Must have strong, logical decision-making skills along with solid time management and multi-tasking skills

• Must possess strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to remain professional under pressure and exhibit a positive attitude.
• Exhibit sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices with excellent housekeeping and organizational skills
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Working Conditions

• Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs.
• Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.
• Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools.
