Your Role

As an Industrial Engineer, you will improve efficiency and support capacity growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will analyze workflows, balance production lines, and refine floor layouts to ensure safe, ergonomic, and cost-effective operations. This role provides the opportunity to apply lean tools, identify automation opportunities, and contribute directly to ongoing factory expansion. This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities

Develop and update floor layouts, process flows, and workstation designs to improve efficiency, capacity, and scalability.
Conduct time studies, line balancing, and spaghetti diagram analyses to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Assess ergonomic risks and recommend solutions to improve operator safety and comfort.
Support the implementation of lean tools, automation, and poka-yoke methods to improve quality and reduce waste.
Partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams on capacity increase projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document findings, create clear visual aids, and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Core Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, line balancing, and process flow analysis.
Hands-on experience with time studies, spaghetti diagrams, and ergonomic assessments.
Proficiency with Excel and CAD or layout software for process documentation and planning.

Desired Skills / Experience

Exposure to automation or poka-yoke implementation.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen or Six Sigma.
Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, and related best practice documentation tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000

*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.
