Westfalia Fruit Products, situated in Tzaneen, has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced: Inbound and Outbound Coordinator

Requirements

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Inbound & Outbound Coordinator will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods into and out of the organization. They will ensure accurate inventory control, timely transportation, and safe storage of materials to support uninterrupted production and distribution operations. The coordinator will work closely with different stakeholders to ensure materials arrive on time, in full, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:  

Logistics & Transportation Coordination

• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation providers to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries and dispatches.
• Schedule, track, and manage delivery timelines, proactively resolving delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Review and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including delivery notes, bills, and invoices.

Inventory, Procurement & Supplier Management

• Procure raw and packaging materials in line with BOM requirements, managing lead times and MOQs to support production continuity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems and drive weekly and monthly cycle counts.
• Liaise with suppliers to monitor delivery performance, compliance, and resolve supply or quality-related issues.

Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure inbound materials and logistics services comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Support audits and inspections related to logistics, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Analyse logistics and inventory data, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance

Education:

• Degree/Diploma in Procurement management, Supply chain management, Finance, or other related qualification

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in stock management
• Logistics management with +2 years in management role
