What You Will Be Doing

The IMS Manager will work cross-functionally to lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ChargePoint Quality Management System, Environmental Management System (EMS), Health and Safety Management (OHS) and Information Security Management (IMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001/ 27001 across the ChargePoint companies. They will proactively monitor the various elements of the QMS, EMS, OHS and IMS to help ensure compliance with quality and environmental system regulations and applicable national and international standards. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to internal functions in the application, maintenance and improvement of quality, environmental, and safety systems, procedures and department specific processes
  • Manage the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001 internal audits and drive any findings to solutions
  • Lead CAPA owners and team leads to perform root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions
  • Manage the maintenance of policies and procedures to support the IMS program and assist various departments in any procedures and procedure maintenance owned by those respective groups
  • Ensure efficient and effective processes and tools are established for compliance with ISO standards requirements
  • Provide updates as required to the QMS, EMS and IMS, including CAPA and Internal Audit procedures and continue monitoring compliance
  • Define and oversee continuous improvement projects, execute where needed, and complete other duties as assigned
  • Oversee communication to Senior Manager, Leadership and across the organization for status on the program and updates and resources needed
  • Manage IMS training program to meet all necessary requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in general business, Engineering, Science or a related field and with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years working experience in related field.
  • Superior knowledge of ISO International Standards, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001
  • Advanced knowledge of ESG frameworks would be a huge plus
  • Be a leader who can meet objectives by influencing various departments to support the ISO framework. Must be able to exert influence at many levels within the company
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills (articulate and persuasive)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Advanced skills in conducting Risk assessments (e.g. FMEA), Practical Process Improvement (PPI) or Six Sigma experience
  • May require domestic and international travel (10-20%).
