About the Role
We’re looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our global Customer Operations team to work with our brand new e-commerce solutions portfolio, which includes Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and mobile APP for regional airlines.
Your primary role will be:
Project Management of Passenger Service Systems (PSS) AeroCRS® , Sell-More-Seats® implementations, and taking care of configuration / technical set-up for our new customer airlines
Project Management of Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and Mobile Application (APP) implementations, and taking care of the setup and configuration of IBE as per customer requirements and based on the available IBE/App and website templates, as well as connectivity between IBE and PSS set up for our new and existing customer airlines
While taking care of the primary job functions described above, the consultant would also be responsible for:
Training new and existing customers in the daily usage of the system (online and onsite)
Taking care of the customer after the implementation phase (hypercare period) and its gradual transition to the Support team
Preparing instructions, manuals, and training materials in relation to new system features/functionalities introduced
Activation and setup of new system features, assist customers with configuration if necessary
Other typical duties of the consultant might include:
Business Consultancy in airline reservation & sales processes, advising our customers on industry and airline requirements
Presentation/demo of the product/solution to potential customers in cooperation with the Sales team
Understanding and collecting customers’ business requirements for new features in close cooperation with the Account Management team
Closely working with the customer and business analysts on technical specifications
Performing User Acceptance Test (UAT) / Testing of new system features, when delivered by the Development team
A candidate should have a few years of job experience in the airline industry, i.e., with airline inventory, sales, and reservation solutions or revenue management – preferred, or in the travel industry – minimum requirement. Alternatively, the candidate has worked for a provider of inventory or sales and reservation solutions in a comparable industry. The candidate should have at least a basic understanding of the commercial airline business nature, ticketing, and distribution processes.
Skills & Qualifications
University degree, preferably in economics, marketing, IT, engineering, travel, or project management
Minimum 2 years of experience in the airline industry or travel-related industry, IT, or e-commerce
Experience in project management (preferably, IT projects)
Excellent English (written, verbal, and communication skills)
MS Word / MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
CMS (website builder experience) / Experience of creating/managing websites (their content and design)
E-commerce platforms experience
Understanding of customer journey (end-to-end experience a shopper has with an online brand) and reservation flow
Furthermore, the following skills/knowledge would be considered as an advantage.
Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
Ability to work in a multilingual and multicultural environment
Database/SQL experience, MS Access experience, or experience in working with big data massives
JIRA experience
Customer orientation and a solid understanding of customers’ needs
Programming languages’ skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
IATA and other airline industry certificates
Good / Excellent French and German (verbal and communication skills, sufficient to conduct training in those languages)
If successful, you will be part of the GO7 (Worldticket A/s) team based in Warsaw, Poland (with an option of remote work), and you will report directly to the VP Implementation of Worldticket and GO7.
This is a full-time position with an average working time of 40 hours per week, which will be based on a company-to-company contract. Worldticket A/s (part of GO7) company does not employ in Poland and cannot assist applicants in obtaining a visa or residence permit to stay or work in Poland or in any other EU country.
Travelling to customers and other company locations is to be expected in the amount of up to 10-20 business days per year.
