JOB OVERVIEW

The Impact Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Seadev’s Improve Lives initiatives. This role is hands-on, relational, and service-oriented, focused on helping turn vision into action.

The Impact Assistant will work closely with the HR & Impact Manager and leadership team to support internal team care initiatives, external community projects, volunteer activities, and impact-related communications and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, compassionate, and motivated by serving others through practical action.

The Impact Assistant will report to the HR & Impact Manager.

What will you do?

• Support Improve Lives Initiatives (Core Responsibility):
• Assist in planning and executing Seadev’s internal and external Improve Lives projects
• Coordinate logistics for community outreach, volunteer events, donations, and impact activities
• Maintain schedules, task lists, and follow-ups related to impact initiatives
• Support relationships with local partners, nonprofits, and community organizations
• Assist with collecting stories, feedback, and basic data related to impact outcomes
• Internal Team Care and Culture Support:
• Support initiatives that care for Seadev team members and their families
• Assist with internal events, team support programs, and culture-building activities
• Help ensure Improve Lives values are reflected in day-to-day actions and experiences
• Administrative and Reporting Support:
• Track expenses, budgets, and documentation related to impact activities
• Prepare basic reports, summaries, and updates for leadership
• Assist with compliance, approvals, and internal processes related to CSR initiatives
• Support communication of impact initiatives internally and externally as needed
• Training & Learning Coordination:
• Support planning and coordination of internal training programs at Seadev
• Assist with logistics for external training, workshops, and community learning initiatives
• Coordinate schedules, materials, attendance tracking, and follow-ups for training sessions
• Support communication between trainers, participants, and internal stakeholders
• Help document training outcomes and maintain training records
• Translation & Communication Support:
• Provide translation support (English ↔ Vietnamese) for training materials, impact content, internal communication, and community initiatives
• Support bilingual interpretation during events, training sessions, or meetings when needed
• General Support:
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the HR & Impact Manager
• Assist with special projects related to internal team and community impact and social responsibility
• Represent Seadev professionally and compassionately in community and team settings

Requirements

• Native speaker of Vietnamese, fluent in English (writing, speaking, listening, reading).

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Business, HR degree, Social Work, Communications, Development, or related field), or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in administration, community programs, NGO work, CSR, HR support or related roles.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• High empathy and a heart for serving others
• Ability to work well with diverse groups including staff, volunteers, and community partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive
• Comfortable handling sensitive or personal matters with discretion and care.
