Position Overview

Seeking a highly experienced IBM TM1 (Planning Analytics) Developer with strong Financial Planning & Analysis expertise in the banking/financial services domain. The role requires hands-on development, financial modeling, and integration with enterprise financial systems.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months C2H)
Duration: Long-Term Project

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on development using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including Rules and Feeders

  • Support Financial Planning & Analysis processes

  • Enhance forecasting, automation, and predictive analytics capabilities

  • Improve version control, CI/CD processes, and governance standards

  • Optimize operational risk and financial controls

  • Work with modern data platforms supporting real-time capabilities

Banking & Finance Domain Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting (Revenue, NII, NIM, OPEX, Headcount)

  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) & profitability allocation

  • Balance Sheet & Liquidity Planning

  • Asset Liability Management (ALM) concepts

  • CECL/Provision drivers

  • RWA & Capital Planning (Basel / ICAAP fundamentals)

  • Stress Testing concepts (e.g., CCAR)

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

  • Strong understanding of banking and financial services finance processes

  • Solid SQL skills with performance tuning expertise

  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling

  • Experience integrating with ERP/GL systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft)

  • Experience working with data warehouses and data lakes

  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
