About the IAM Transformation Program

A leading European retail group is undergoing a major Identity & Access Management (IAM) transformation across its Belgium and Southeastern Europe (BeSEE) operations, covering Belgium, Romania, Greece, and Serbia. The program is one of the most business-critical digital initiatives in the region.

The initiative aims to modernize, standardize, and secure IAM processes by migrating from legacy systems to a centralized target architecture, incorporating Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint Identity Governance.

About the Role

As a IAM Application Migration Engineer, you will play a key hands-on role in migrating applications from legacy IAM systems to the new centralized IAM platform. You will work closely with IAM architects, enablement teams, application owners, and platform teams to ensure secure, standardized migrations with minimal business disruption.

You will be responsible for the technical preparation, execution, and support of IAM application migrations, aligned with IAM standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute application migrations from legacy IAM solutions to Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint

  • Analyze existing integrations for:

    • Authentication

    • Authorization

    • Provisioning and de-provisioning

  • Prepare and implement application-specific migration activities

  • Collaborate with:

    • Application Owners

    • IAM Enablement Teams

    • IAM Platform/Product Teams

  • Validate application readiness and alignment with target IAM integration

  • Support functional testing, UAT, and post-migration stabilization

  • Troubleshoot migration issues and support incident resolution

  • Maintain accurate documentation and CMDB records

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints

  • Contribute to improving migration processes, templates, and tools

  • Participate in design boards and change boards, advising on IAM designs and migration impacts

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • 3–6 years of experience in IAM, identity engineering, or application migrations

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

    • Identity protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP)

  • Strong understanding of:

    • IAM concepts (authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle)

    • Legacy IAM environments and migration challenges

  • Experience in complex enterprise or transformation settings

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proactive, structured, and delivery-focused

  • Experience in design boards and change advisory boards (CAB) within IAM or IT transformations

  • Fluent in English
