The Position: 

As a Hybrid Case Manager (HCM) on our High-Skilled Immigration (HSI) team, you will be a part of a team of Attorneys and Case Managers that help our clients navigate immigrant work visa issues. You will work with clients in a variety of industries, including technology, engineering, bioscience, and other emerging industries, to help them seize exciting opportunities in today’s evolving economy. The HCM position will encompass a mix of legal writing and case management work. Under the direction of our HSI Attorneys and Senior Case Managers, you'll prepare comprehensive, well-structured legal briefs for work visa matters including EB-1A and EB-1B Green Cards, EB-2 NIW Green Cards, and O-1 visas tailored to each client’s background and proposed endeavor.


This position offers a level of flexibility to accommodate where the HCM is most needed to support the team. Please note, all work must be performed within the United States.


What you will be doing:

  • Complete a mix of standard and more advanced writing projects
  • Carry out HCM-specific tasks, including editing, packaging, and completing forms
  • Participate in additional training for more advanced writing projects and case management tasks
  • Sub for Senior Case Managers as necessary, including document review, additional HCM-specific tasks, editing writing projects, package assembly, and communicating with the Attorney of Record
  • Act as Mentor for new Writers/Case Managers (optional), providing support when they join EP and guidance as they grow into their role
  • Perform others duties as assigned by management

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a writing-intensive or STEM field
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
  • Willingness and comfort in utilizing new technologies, legal research tools, and case management software
  • Thorough attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • An ability to continually refine your strong rhetorical (persuasive) writing and editing skills
  • Analytical mindset with a rigorous approach to evaluating arguments and evidence
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, while demonstrating an ability to provide insightful, constructive feedback to team members where necessary
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to rapid changes in the workplace
  • Strong word processing and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
Salary
$60,000 per year
