The Job  

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Human Resources Intern to join the Human Resources team to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. As an Intern, you will have the chance to work closely with Core Scientific’s HR Team and will be exposed to various facets of our organization, allowing you to develop essential skills and knowledge in the field. 

Responsibilities 

  • Work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and see how HR plays a strategic role in shaping a high-performing, inclusive workplace 
  • Support HR functions across multiple locations, assisting with scheduling, coordination, and communication 
  • Participate and support training events, site visits, and other opportunities to meet and interact with functional leaders 
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information received in the performance of the job duties 
  • Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at location of work assignment 
  • Develop a diverse skillset through hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the business 
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • Must be current student (rising junior or senior) graduating in 2026 or 2027, actively pursuing in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Must be available for a minimum of 10+ weeks for the internship 
  • Must be in office in Austin, TX  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Minimal travel may be required as needed. 

Work Environment 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.   

Physical Demands  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 20 pounds.   

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work  

This is a full-time, onsite position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. some nights and weekends may be required.
