The HR Data Analyst will play a meaningful role in supporting our Human Resources department in analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing data to drive key HR initiatives and managing our HR Technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, a deep understanding of HR processes as well as the ability to make recommendations and insights on optimally executing and improving HR strategies.
Local candidates to Fulton, MD will be in office 2 days per week. Candidates based in Houston, TX also encourage to apply to this remote role.
What you'll do:
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from various sources including HRIS, ATS, employee surveys, and performance evaluations.
- Work within the company’s reporting and data visualization / business insights tools to build reports and dashboards to in support of our business operations as well as ad-hoc reporting requests
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from HR data to provide actionable recommendations for improving HR processes and decision-making.
- Analyze HR data to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven insights and recommendations for HR strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with HR business partners and department heads to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HR data with other business systems, such as finance, to drive holistic business insights and improve organizational performance.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and special projects as requested by HR leadership to address specific business questions or challenges
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in HR analytics, and recommend innovative approaches for enhancing data-driven decision-making within the organization.
- Manage HR technology tools/systems as well as data integrity and process improvements
Who you are:
- 3+ years of HR data analytics work experience required
- Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or similar role, with expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (ADP, 15Five, etc) and ATS systems
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and regulations, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights and influence senior leaders with detailed analysis and innovative solutions..
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work at all levels in the Company and be confident, eloquent, and able to challenge leaders with detailed analysis and innovative solutions.
- BS or BA degree preferred or equivalent experience
