Rexa, Inc. is seeking an HR Administrator to support the HR Department in the following functional areas: payroll administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, personnel record keeping, employee relations, benefits, and recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Payroll – maintains payroll database, processes weekly payroll, issues and distributes reports, manages year end process
- Recruitment – assists in recruitment of employees. Posts ads, reviews resumes, schedules interviews and interviews, issues offer letters, maintains required information for EEO & Affirmative Action compliance
- Employee relations – Responds to employee relations questions consistent with company policy guidelines. Assist with company meetings, communications, and monthly newsletter
- New Hires – processes pre-employment & new hire paperwork. May conduct new hire orientation, or book travel arrangements
- Administers benefit plans, including management of open enrollment process and processing of vendor invoices
- Manages employee leave requests and administration of PFMLA/FMLA as applicable
- Maintains HRIS to ensure compliance with employee changes, documentation uploads, and organizational chart
- Workers Compensation - Reports, maintains and monitors all workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases. Completes OSHA Log
- Assists in termination processes including setting up meetings, separation letters, answering employee questions
- Assists HR Director with performance review process, employee training, employee recognition program, and HR projects
- Employee events - Assists with planning and coordination of social events for employees
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of experience.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the administration of human resource programs and benefits in a manufacturing environment
- Experience running payroll
Knowledge and skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with technology and possessing the ability to easily learn payroll management, human resource information systems, and similar computer applications and ERP software
Working conditions:
Office environment with some exposure to manufacturing activity.
Not a remote position. Applicants from outside of the local area will only be considered if they reference their intention to relocate on their application.
Pay Range: $60,400 - $90,600, depending on experience
