HubSpot Solutions Strategist

Assist clients in leveraging HubSpot to optimize their customer lifecycle through strategic technology implementations and creative problem-solving.

Salted Stone is a fast-paced, full-service digital marketing agency, and we are looking for a HubSpot Solutions Strategist to join our growing team. Our mission is to empower growth-minded companies through creative solutions combined with smart technology.  We believe nothing is impossible and always solve for the customer.  We aim to attract, engage, and develop exceptional people and, in turn, deliver distinctive, lasting improvements for our customers. This is a mid-level full-time position reporting to the Director of Solutions on our Solutions Architecture team (commonly known as Technical Marketing elsewhere).


The HubSpot Solutions Strategist will help our clients develop, implement, and optimize new technologies and processes that tie together the entire customer lifecycle using the HubSpot platform. 


The HubSpot Solutions Strategist supports the solutions team by cultivating professional expertise and applying this to address a range of technical marketing, sales, and service issues. They determine appropriate courses of action based on established guidelines and adapt processes and methods as necessary.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Complete and deliver all elements of the Salted Stones Solutions Team Product offerings (Data Migration, Portal Strategy, and HubSpot Onboarding, including Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, etc.).
  • Interact directly with and provide a translation layer to technically-oriented marketers and software developers, internally and on the client-side.
  • Lead client-facing calls, providing technical expertise and a complete understanding of tools to help clients understand and use offerings effectively.
  • Run solutions onboarding engagements (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and/or Service Hub) without relying on CS team members to run points/project management.
  • Work closely with the development team (both internally and externally) to connect existing systems to HubSpot
    • Be able to generate a standard ERD for either existing or proposed integration structure
    • Leverage understanding of data structures to provide recommendations and implementation of system setup
    • Be able to discuss 1st party, 3rd party, and Middleware integration solutions
    • Troubleshoot integration and data problems
  • Regularly think creatively about how to use the HubSpot Platform to solve for client needs.
  • Develop client-facing supporting documentation and processes for new technology configurations, customizations, and functionalities.
  • Execute assigned tasks with a high degree of quality and on time.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for your work, work within timelines and budgets, and address other applicable project management concerns.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team by identifying areas for optimization, streamlining processes, and implementing innovative solutions.


Required Competencies

    • Successful experience in a Solutions Strategy, Technical Marketing, Marketing/Revenue Technologist, Marketing/Revenue Operations, etc., role (agency experience a plus); ideally suited for early to mid-career level, but not entry level.
    • Prior experience with Hubspot (Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Service Hub)
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive and participate in multiple client engagements at once
    • Strong technical writing skills & documentation skills, primarily for the creation of compelling client-facing deliverables
    • Ability to confidently communicate with clients as needed.
    • Completion of all required technical certifications.
    • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills; and you're comfortable managing multiple projects (budgets, timelines, personalities) simultaneously.
    • Understanding and/or direct experience with Google Analytics, Databox, and similar analytics tools. 
    • Understanding and/or direct experience with Google Tag Manager
    • Basic knowledge of marketing and sales automation tools, business intelligence tools, data enrichment tools, etc.

In a fully remote role. We’re set up to hire in CA, CO, ID, LA, MI, NC, NV, PA, TX, and WA. Your new Leader is located in ID (MST time). Our wider team is spread across North America, Australia, Ireland, India, and the Philippines, so there may be times when we ask you to flex your schedule to allow for collaboration with different time zones. This flex goes both ways.

The base annual salary for this position will be between $92,000 - $112,000 depending on the successful applicant's relevant skills and experience.
