We are looking for an experienced HubSpot expert who can both build and operate our marketing automation systems. You will work directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to manage HubSpot day-to-day, implement best practices, and help unlock its full potential across marketing, sales, and operations.

 

We have used HubSpot for 2.5 years, but we know we are barely scratching the surface. This role is for someone who can think strategically, execute tactically, and help us improve our email campaigns, nurture flows, and operational workflows without reinventing the wheel.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Marketing Automation
    • Design, build, and manage workflows, sequences, lead scoring models, nurture flows, and contact lifecycle stages.
    • Set up custom properties, automations, and campaign structures aligned with the GTM strategy.
    • Provide frameworks for campaigns and sequences so our team can plug in copy.


  • Campaign Execution
    • Run and monitor email campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, event/webinar promotions, and newsletters.
    • Segment lists and build dynamic content personalization using HubSpot features.


  • CRM & Database Management
    • Manage deduplication, list cleanup, enrichment, and hygiene on an ongoing basis.
    • Implement lead routing rules, pipeline automations, and contact/company management rules.


  • Tooling & Integrations
    • Collaborate with the team managing outbound tools (Instantly, Clay) to align campaigns and tracking.
    • Set up and maintain connections with 3rd-party tools (e.g., Calendly, Typeform, Zoom, etc.).
    • Bonus: experience with email domain warming, sender reputation monitoring, and managing email infrastructure across tools.


  • Reporting & Optimization
    • Build dashboards to track campaign performance, attribution, conversion rates, and lead quality.
    • Set up A/B testing workflows and analyze performance data to improve results.


What We Are Looking For

 

  • Proven track record managing HubSpot CRM, marketing automation, and workflows at a growing company or agency.
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub.
  • Experience with list management, lead scoring, segmentation, campaign orchestration.
  • Familiarity with outbound sales tools (Instantly, Clay) and how to tie outbound and inbound together.
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable setting up reports and digging into data.
  • Clear communicator, highly organized, and capable of working cross-functionally.

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Knowledge of email infrastructure setup (domain warm-up, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, inbox placement tools).
  • Experience integrating AI agents, chatbots, or lead scoring via 3rd party APIs.
  • Exposure to complex marketing operations across multiple geos or business units.
