The HSI Practice Strategist Program
Elis Porter (EP) is introducing the HSI Practice Strategist Program, where selected Porters will work closely with HSI Partners, Senior Attorneys and relevant parties to support the greater HSI team in centralizing work for specific case types. As an HSI Practice Strategist, you will be responsible for improving process efficiency, monitoring and responding to trends, and developing and facilitating implementation of practice innovations.


As part of the HSI Practice Strategist Program, you will be a strategic leader, supporting innovation, process improvement, and firm growth and efficiency. In addition to the positive impact you will have, the Program also supports you in building greater knowledge of HSI practices, developing core strategic and operational skills, and growing your career within EP.


Positions within the HSI Practice Strategist Program are 24-month rotational opportunities. At the close of 24 months, Program Strategists will rotate back into an SCM role.


Please note that all work for this Program must be performed within the United States.


The Position
As part of this Program, we are looking for highly experienced SCMs with the skillset and desire to enhance practice strategies for specific and specialized cases.


The focus for this particular position within the HSI Practice Strategist Program is Requests for Evidence (RFEs).


What you’ll do

  • Code all RFEs for attorney review to standardize code/language/process and support consistency across AOR teams.
  • Review final attorney-approved coded to understand revisions and unique codes.
  • Maintain the RFE code base, including identifying potential new codes and drafting new template language.
  • Tracking coded RFEs to be best positioned to identify trends and apply learnings to support AORs and SCMs.
  • Collaborate with Knowledge Management (KM) to heavily leverage technologies, such as Notion, to collect and maintain RFE data for continuous improvement of the code base.
  • Conduct regular audits of RFEs to ensure quality and adherence to workflow, escalating when necessary.
  • Work closely with the Innovation team to further develop specialized case practices.


Skills and experience you bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a writing-intensive or STEM field.
  • 4+ years HSI experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with specialized cases, including at least two years of experience managing RFEs.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with experience in effective communication and strong relationship building capability across organizational groups and levels.
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of information, and to clearly communicate findings and practical application.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn strategic and data-oriented skills to support HSI and ultimately grow EP’s capabilities as a whole.
  • Flexibility and agility to quickly adapt to rapid changes in the workplace.
Salary
$75,000 per year
