Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with SEI Human Resources Development (HRD) and HR members in the Americas to implement SEG e-Campus, Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate the implementation of the Sumitomo Spirit trainer’s training program in the region.
  • Provide other support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years of working experience in human resources development or related field, including experience implementing and troubleshooting training programs.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and interact effectively. 
  • Fluent in Japanese (business level) and English.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle tasks independently and proactively. 
  • Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, organizational expertise, discretion, tact, and excellent grammar/proofreading skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with all company leadership and direction.  
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
The compensation range for this position is between $18 to $20 per hour. 
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives.
