About Inspiren

Inspiren offers the most complete and connected ecosystem in senior living. Founded by Michael Wang, a former Green Beret turned cardiothoracic nurse, Inspiren proves that compassionate care and technology can coexist - bringing peace of mind to residents, families, and staff.

Our integrated solutions seamlessly fit into existing workflows, capturing everything happening within a community. Backed by nurse specialists and powerful analytics, we provide the data operators need to make informed clinical and operational decisions - driving efficiency, profitability, and better care outcomes.

About the Role

As our Senior HR Business Partner, you will be the strategic architect of our people operations during a period of rapid scale. This isn't a traditional HR role; you will be a "modern operator" who understands that a high-growth HealthTech company requires a culture of high performance, psychological safety, and radical transparency.

This is a foundational hire. You will be responsible for establishing and maturing the HRBP practice at Inspiren. You will partner directly with our executive leadership team to align our talent strategy with our business goals. Your primary mission will be to design the frameworks, feedback loops, and consultation standards that define how HRBPs support our leaders, ensuring that as we grow, our "People First" mission remains at the core of every business decision.

What You Will Do

  • Establish the HRBP Practice: Help design and launch the foundational HRBP framework at Inspiren. You will define how HRBPs partner with the business, creating a "playbook" for leadership consultation, workforce planning, and talent strategy that scales with us.
  • Strategic Partnering: Act as a primary thought partner to leadership, providing human capital guidance that supports Inspiren’s "People First" mission.
  • Organizational Design: Partner with department heads to assess team structures, ensuring we are built for speed, efficiency, and scalability as we grow our customer base.
  • Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that foster a culture of "Mavericks, Allies, and Visionaries." You will lead engagement strategies, ensuring our team feels valued, respected, and motivated.
  • Performance & Development: Lead talent reviews and succession planning. You’ll coach managers on goal-setting, feedback loops, and career pathways to ensure every Inspiren employee is doing the best work of their career.
  • Data-Driven HR: Utilize people analytics to identify trends in retention and engagement, using data to drive "real-world" operational improvements.
  • Change Management: Lead the "people side" of organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions as we iterate on our product and business model.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure our HR practices remain compliant with employment laws while maintaining an agile, low-friction environment for our employees.

About You

  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a strategic HRBP role within a high-growth B2B SaaS or HealthTech environment.
  • Business Acumen: You understand the "why" behind the business. You can connect a hiring plan to a revenue goal and a development program to a product roadmap.
  • Coach & Influencer: You have a track record of coaching senior leaders and influencing outcomes without needing direct authority.
  • Modern Operator: You are comfortable using AI and modern HR tools (Gusto, Greenhouse, etc.) to prioritize smart work over busywork.
  • Resilient & Adaptable: You thrive in the "ambiguity" of a startup and are energized by solving complex people problems on the fly.
  • Mission-Driven: You are passionate about healthcare and the potential for technology to improve the lives of seniors and their caregivers.
