Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing product startup. As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our HR strategies to support the company's overall growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end employee life cycle on the HRMS tool.
- Comply and support payroll processing, attend to the labor inspector's queries at the time of inspections / periodic audits. Compliance across PF, ESI, PT, gratuity, labor laws, and regulatory filings.
- Administer HRMS including employee data, workflows, access controls, and reporting.
- Maintain all HR documentation such as contracts, offer letters, amendments, and records.
- Responsible for new policy formulation and monitor the need for policy revision from time to time as per the evolutionary needs of the organization.
- Design and formulate HR policies and processes in consultation with HR leadership.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or
other issues.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Track and maintain operational HR metrics including headcount, payroll accuracy, and data integrity.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations or People Operations roles.
- Strong experience managing payroll, statutory compliance, and HR documentation.
- Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS tools (preferably KEKA or similar platforms).
- High attention to detail with strong process and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee data with integrity and discretion.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills with internal teams and vendors.
- Ability to independently own HR operations end-to-end as an individual contributor.
