This role focuses on employee lifecycle support, HR administration, and coordination with payroll/finance teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong policy comprehension and can support employees by explaining HR policies and procedures in a practical, understandable way. Familiarity with US HR policies and practices is highly preferred but not required. Note: This role does not include managing US statutory compliance (e.g., Social Security, FICA, ACA, labor law compliance). Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees supporting US teams.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation in HRIS.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing company HR policies and code of conduct.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate follow-ups.
  • Prepare interview questions and evaluation scorecards.
  • Conduct phone screening interviews and maintain recruitment records.
  • Support new hire orientation and probation monitoring.

  • Support HR processes in alignment with US HR policies and practices, including:
  • PTO/ leave policies
  • Performance review cycles
  • Employee engagement practices
  • Company policies and code of conduct
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures, escalating complex or sensitive matters to senior HR leadership as needed.
  • Qualifications/Must-Haves
  • 4–7 years of HR experience, with a preference for candidates who have supported remote or international teams.
  • Skilled at interpreting HR policies and procedures and helping employees navigate them effectively.
  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, employee support).
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup and collaborating across time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment when handling employee matters.

  • Exposure to US HR policies or experience supporting US-based employees.
  • Experience working in global, remote, or distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or payroll systems.
